儚い Hakanai — the beauty of impermanence

A dance of light and shadow, creating art one stitch at a time.

One artisan. Hand-stitched from start to finish, edge-painted by hand, in ethically sourced exotic skins. Every piece is made once and never again.

One pair of hands

Every piece cut, stitched and finished by a single artisan — not a workshop, not a production line.

Hand-stitched, hand-finished

Saddle-stitched throughout, edges built and burnished by hand over multiple passes.

Skins chosen one at a time

Alligator, ostrich, ring lizard, python and French chevre — selected per piece, never batched.

誂え Atsurae — made to order

Commission a piece

Most of what leaves the atelier was made for someone specific. Choose the silhouette, the skin and the lining; the piece is cut and stitched for you over the following weeks.

01Tell us the piece. Silhouette, intended use, and anything you have carried before that did or did not work.
02Choose the skin. You select an individual hide — Alran, Haas, Weinheimer, Fontanella — not a material from a list.
03The build. Ten to twelve weeks, documented as it goes. Commissions from $400; handbags from $2,000.
